WOMEN’S SQUASH RISING
Friday was one of the most fun evenings I have yet seen at
the DAC as we hosted “Women’s, Wine and Squash” night which had a turnout of
over 20 female members who all jumped on court and got involved. This included
ladies who had been playing for years and around half who were picking up a racket
for the very first time.
We invited the Canadian world class touring pro Nikki Todd to help host the night. Nikki
was one of the top players that recently took part in our professional
tournament last month, she is ranked in the top 65 in the world in singles and
currently in the top 20 in the world in doubles. The ladies loved having her
around and very much welcomed her expert instruction and tips, her ruthless
enthusiasm, positive energy and incredible skill set were as integral to the
evenings success as were the 10 bottles of Cabernet!
This event was a great way to kick off the new women’s
squash program which will starting in the new year with the aim of increasing
female participation in the game. This will include a box ladder which will be
an excellent way for women’s squash players to get some match play and
competition alongside getting to know other female players at the club, coaching
clinics, and more wine and squash nights. If you are interested in taking up
squash or being added to the email list for any of these exciting activities
and events please email Stu Hadden at stuh@thedac.com
Cheers!

This is Jed, If I had one question for MOHAMED EL SHORBAGY, it would be "Obviously you have heard of the 2016 Blue Chips, they may have been a bit of a Shooting star (rising to extreme glory quick and then calling it a career) if you will, but do you think they were the greatest doubles duo ever formed?"
Ryan here, if I had a follow up question to Jed's, it would be "I know that you are not a doubles player, but If given a 5 point lead in each game, could you and your brother, Marwan have taken 2 games off of The Blue Chips at their peak in 2016?"
Thanks for your time,
JEDCO

I never heard of the Blue Chips. I'm not sure why some random, unknown 2016 doubles team is relevant to the topic of DAC Boasters.
Thank you for your message.
P.S. JEDCO is #1

I also appreciate the fact that they use sustainable materials in their products, which is a big plus in my book. It's always great to see companies taking steps towards reducing their environmental impact.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Shreeji Woodcraft to anyone looking for high-quality squash court flooring in India. Keep up the great work!
