BUTTERING UP THE LEAD
Continuing to rise, Butter
Nutz have increased their lead on the standings this week with a league
best 41 point haul. The formula to their success is no secret. There are three
big, meaty reasons for it: 1. They have (so far) played the most matches.
Understanding that their bye week isn’t until the final round, but at this
rate, by that time they would have padded their lead enough to hold off any
challenges. 2. They have the best winning percentage. This can be attributed to
the captain – JC Tibbitts – for drafting
well. A little luck involved to be sure, but still, winning usually proves to
be an excellent method to beat your opponents! 3. They have the most bonus points. This one is a tad
misleading however, since Mongoose
is averaging more bonus points per week than anyone. Butter Nutz have 3 more than Mongoose
but have had 1 extra round to do it in. Either way, it’s a healthy number.
Conversely, the Nicker
Ballers are fading away fast, making last week’s push an anomaly. Not only
did they pick up the least amount of points this week – just 13 – the team that
had the bye – the Wardogs – even scored
more points than they did. No one is ever mathematically out of it, but they
have a lot of work to do if they wish to make themselves relevant.
Paddy’s Dropshots
will be tested next week as it is their turn to sit on the sidelines. How much
they can minimize the damage to their position on the standings with make-up
matches will be totally up to them!
Highlighting some individual stand-outs for the week: Jeff Gembis (Over Served) handed Tom
MacEachern (Winky-Dinks) his
first loss of the season with a steady – but impressive – 2-1 victory. Tom didn’t
play poorly at all, but was frustrated with Jeff’s consistency. Minimizing
errors and keeping the length pays dividends!
Picking up his first win of the season, Andy Adamo (Mongoose)
pulled out a 2-1 triumph over Blake Ellis
(Foss Nation). Considering Andy
recently scored an upset win in the box ladders over Derek Aguirre, his current form must be rather notable.
Zac MacVoy (Foss Nation) keeps in unbeaten streak
alive, extending to 6, as he took care of business against Mike Petix (Mongoose)
with a 2-1 win. And not to compare Zac’s record to his brother Ryan’s, but hey
we may as well, Ryan also won last night (3-0)… however Ryan does have 1 loss
this season… just sayin’.

This is Jed, If I had one question for MOHAMED EL SHORBAGY, it would be "Obviously you have heard of the 2016 Blue Chips, they may have been a bit of a Shooting star (rising to extreme glory quick and then calling it a career) if you will, but do you think they were the greatest doubles duo ever formed?"
Ryan here, if I had a follow up question to Jed's, it would be "I know that you are not a doubles player, but If given a 5 point lead in each game, could you and your brother, Marwan have taken 2 games off of The Blue Chips at their peak in 2016?"
Thanks for your time,
JEDCO

I never heard of the Blue Chips. I'm not sure why some random, unknown 2016 doubles team is relevant to the topic of DAC Boasters.
Thank you for your message.
P.S. JEDCO is #1

I also appreciate the fact that they use sustainable materials in their products, which is a big plus in my book. It's always great to see companies taking steps towards reducing their environmental impact.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Shreeji Woodcraft to anyone looking for high-quality squash court flooring in India. Keep up the great work!
