HOP TO IT!
Hops Challenge ~
Wednesday, December 16
To warm you up for the feature event, the match that will
combat 2 ‘rivals’ on the court against each other, the “two men enter, one man leaves” Thunder Dome extravaganza, to build
you up for the thirst of the keg (not that anyone needs it), then you should
register for the final event of 2015 and play a match in this year’s Hops
Challenge!
Starting at around 4pm, I will match you up against a player
of equal ability (or as close to it as possible) and you will play a full best
of 5 match. There will be two teams, the captains of those teams will be the
players of the main event. In reality, your result only counts for pride – and
ranking points since I will enter them on the Sporty HQ system – because which
team ends up winning is completely irrelevant. What is relevant, is who wins the final encounter, because the loser
will end up having to pay for the keg everybody else is drinking! We can only
take 32 players for this, otherwise we’ll have to start too early and finish
just before Christmas.
So….
“Let’s get ready to
rummmmmmbllllle….!”
In the right corner, weighing in at 195 pounds (give or take
a night out on the town), the man with the sharpest tongue in trash-talking
ever to grace a squash court, camouflaging himself as homely by living in the
friendly neighborhood of Royal Oak but is seen at more social events than the
entire Kardashian family, coming in with a 2015 record of 24 wins and 27 losses,
the personification of determination, the insistence of persistence, SANTE –
God-forbid-any-of-his-fashion-statements-become-trend – FRATARCANGELI!!!
And…
In the left corner, weighing in at a discreet 180 pounds,
the quietest spoken squash player that anyone has never heard, seemingly
impossible to upset but then so was Hannibal Lecter, living off the radar
somewhere in the Pointes, coming in with a 2015 record of 14 wins and 22
losses, the brick tower of flower power, in infallibility of tranquility, ANDY – can’t-we-all-just-get-along – ADAMO!!!
These competitors have recorded 14 results over the years
with Andy holding a slim 8 match to 6 lead. Of those 14 matches, 8 of them went
to 5 games. So we can expect an all-out brawl! Especially when the keg is on
the line!
To register for a match before Sante and Andy have at each
other, e-mail me by Monday, December 14. Even if you do not wish to play, come
on down and socialize, cheer on the lads, have a drink at their expense, let’s
rock the joint!

This is Jed, If I had one question for MOHAMED EL SHORBAGY, it would be "Obviously you have heard of the 2016 Blue Chips, they may have been a bit of a Shooting star (rising to extreme glory quick and then calling it a career) if you will, but do you think they were the greatest doubles duo ever formed?"
Ryan here, if I had a follow up question to Jed's, it would be "I know that you are not a doubles player, but If given a 5 point lead in each game, could you and your brother, Marwan have taken 2 games off of The Blue Chips at their peak in 2016?"
Thanks for your time,
JEDCO

I never heard of the Blue Chips. I'm not sure why some random, unknown 2016 doubles team is relevant to the topic of DAC Boasters.
Thank you for your message.
P.S. JEDCO is #1

I also appreciate the fact that they use sustainable materials in their products, which is a big plus in my book. It's always great to see companies taking steps towards reducing their environmental impact.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Shreeji Woodcraft to anyone looking for high-quality squash court flooring in India. Keep up the great work!
